Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

A small show of ewes and hoggs with lambs at foot were forward at C&D Auction Marts Ltd, Longtown on Tuesday 4^th July 2017 and continued to sell at recent high rates with a full ringside of buyers.

The sale topped at £76 a life for Texel shearlings and lambs from Eastmains Farming Co. followed at £73 for Texek hoggs and lambs from the same home.

Cross with single to £68 Eastmains.

Texel with single to £60 Dinwoodie Green.

Kerry Hill with twins to £50 Eastmains.

Cheviot with single to £46 Eastmains.

Herdwick with single to £34 Eden Park.

Shearling and lambs:

Texel with single to £76 Eastmains, £70 Dinwoodie Green.

Hoggs and lambs:

Texel with single to £73, £72 Eastmains, £70 Eastfield of Wiston.

Suffolk with single to £57 Eastfield of Wiston.
