C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 4,008 store lambs at their sale on Wednesday 23rd August 2017. A good show of lambs and a nice crowd of buyers, both local and distant. Trade sharp throughout with all classes easily sold.

Top of £73 for Suffolks from Vallance Drive and £70 Satchells. Texels to £69 Townfoot and £68 Sorbie. Beltex to £68.50 Greenwell Meadows and £65 Sorbie. Cheviots to £63 Whiteknowe. Cheviot Mule to £59 Sorbietrees. Hampshire to £63.50 Flatt. Greyface to £64 Knarr, £62.50 High Burnfoot and £59.50 Horsley Hill. Blackface to £48 Crindledykes. Romney to £53.50 Rammerscales.
