C&D Auction Marts Limited had forward 692 store lambs on Tuesday 22nd December 2020 at Longtown Mart.

A seasonal show of nice quality sheep met another strong trade with high rates again being easily maintained.

Top price £89 for Texels from Tower Farm (Peacock), others to £83 Staffler, New Kennels and Grindon Hill; Suffolks to £87 Staffler, £85 Grindon Hill; Greyfaces to £86.50, £79 Grindon Hill; Cheviot Mules to £79.50 Grindon Hill; Blackfaces to £83.50 Grindon Hill, £77 Bloch, £70.50 Balmurrie; Hill Cheviots to £60 Effgill; Easycare to £61 Glenlea.
