Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 2,997 store hoggs, feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly sale on Tuesday 1st February 2022 at Longtown.

A top-quality show for the time of year, attracted buyers from as far as Devon, Wales and Hereford along with locals. Trade was easily the best so far, many more could have easily been sold.

Joint top price was £125 for Beltex from Causey View, Bardon Mill and for Texels from Mossband Hall, Longtown.
