Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward a mixed show of both hoggs with lambs at foot and ewes with lambs at foot on Tuesday 24th May 2022, a monstrous trade for all classes was witnessed, with new customers in attendance.

Ewes with lambs at foot topping at £124 from B & S Johnston, Nelson Hill, with countless pens of aged ewes and lambs selling between £95 and £115 a life. A smaller show of hoggs with lambs at foot sold to £122 a life for strong Texels from M Smith, Mount Farm, who also sold twins at £100 a life.
