Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report
C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Store Sheep at Longtown on Tuesday 22nd July 2025.
Second sale of store lambs in very high demand, running lambs dearer again on the week with a lack of strong short keep lambs on offer, wholesale averaged £110. Many more store lambs of all classes required every week here at Longtown with local and travelled buyers certainly on the hunt for numbers.
Store lambs top at £156 for a tremendous Texel cross lamb from RJ & JM Tudhope, High Parson Bridge.
