Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of 2105 Store Sheep sale at Longtown on Tuesday 19th August 2025.

A smaller show of store lambs forward on the week, with a shortage of short-term keeping lambs on offer. Longer term lambs saw a slight resistance on the week despite several new faces around ringside.

Lambs top at £143 for a fantastic Texel cross lamb from C R Purvis, Shepherds Cottage.
