Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts had forward 6,568 store lambs, feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly sale at Longtown on Wednesday 24th September 2025.

Store lambs of all classes dearer on the week with more faces appearing at ringside as Blue Tongue restrictions lift. A light show of short keep lambs on offer, with a larger show of longer keep lambs forward. Topping the sale were a pen of Texel lambs at £138 from WJ Little, Low Old Shields.
